PI to Raise Rates for First Time in Five Years

Due to an increase in printing prices, The Pennsic Independent is being forced to raise the price for the Pennsic newspaper for the first time in five years.

The increase, from $.75 per issue to $1.00 per issue, was determined on Monday of this week following a call to the printer. The printing prices for the Independent have been fairly stable for several years, but the current economy has effected the print industry as it has many other areas of commerce. Please note that the printer PI uses is exceptionally reasonably still, and picks the newspaper masters up at Coopers Lake at night and delivers the finished product the next morning. In the past, efforts to work with other printers have been disasterous at best.

This has been an agonizing decision. We at PI thank those who have supported us over the years and look forward to continuing to bring you the best in news from Pennsic War for years to come.
