Thanks to a monumental effort on the part of Her Royal Majesty of Aethelmearc, Tessa, and a team of Shadowclans members, the Pennsic Children’s Water Battle will take place!
The economy and illness are attempting to take the Children’s Water Battle off the Pennsic schedule. Merriment is a hard thing to kill, though. Thanks to the efforts of Her Majesty of Aethelmearc, Tessa, the Pennsic Fort may still run wet with water this year.

PI has decided to shift production dates as a result of changes in the Pennsic Marketplace dates. The Pennsic Marketplace dates have changed for Pennsic 39 (watch for an article on this news soon!). The new Marketplace dates are from Monday, August 2 until Friday, August 13.
The owner of an obscure chain of medieval recreation hobbyist publications has purchased all the assets of media giant Gannett Inc. in an unsolicited, hostile takeover bid that included cash, letters of credit from half a dozen "kingdoms" in which she publishes, and an unspecified quantity of "chocolate Chaucers," apparently some kind of alcoholic beverage.
